Concert for Conservation
Members of the ShowMeEtsy street team will have several booths/tables at the Concert for Conservation on Saturday, July 12, 7 pm, at the Lucas School House. In addition, participating members are donating items for a raffle to raise additional money for The Nature Conservancy.
Playing at the Concert for Conservation will be The Mosby Group and Students of Imrat Khan. Todd Mosby appeared recently on Cityscape on KWMU and Stumble in the Dark on KDHX, where he talked about the concert and his music.
The mission of The Nature Conservancy is "to preserve the plants, animals and natural communities that represent the diversity of life on Earth by protecting the lands and waters they need to survive." Tickets for the Concert for Conservation are $10 in advance and $12 day of show. A matching donation will be made for every ticket purchased.
Attending this event is a great way to help a good cause, hear some great music, check out some local artisans, and meet members of the ShowMeEtsy team. We hope to see you there!
